Abstract

|
Though many authors Provide us information’s on dysfunctional uterine bleeding, there is a conspicuous absence of agreement among these authors as to the abnormalities_
In order to investigate clinically diagnosis, differential diagnosis and etiology of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, author examined histopathologically 18 cases of them and found that:
1) Metropathia hemorrhegica occurs not only much more from hyperplastic ondometrium than estrogenic and patchy from progestational Phase, but also an incomplete Progestational stage formation after anovulatory persistent, that is, hyperplastic endometrium and ovulatory phase.
2) It is impossible to find a definite feature in bleeding type which is associated with hypermonorrhea form, hyperplasia and persistent secrotory phases.
3) Metrorrhagia may occur from early proliferative and secretory phase, or irregular shedding of endometrium.
